I just got back from Ehon exhibition at the New York Public Library. It was really inspiring to see artful books and scrolls. Traditional yet all the composition and execution seemed thoroughly modern. Very inspiring.

Japanese pop artist Yumiko Kayukawa — known for her Technicolor Manga-inspired illustrations —? toes the line with grace and style. Her new book “The Wild Kingdom of Yumiko Kayukawa” chronicles her work from 2001 through 2005. The book is available now. |
